Paulo Ganime — Keynote Speaker on Economics, Politics and Decision-Making
A keynote speaker for corporate events, conventions, executive retreats and conferences. Former federal congressman, engineer and former CEO: I translate Brazil's political, regulatory and business landscape into practical decisions for leaders — in executive language, with content your audience can apply on Monday morning.

Topics
Pick the topic. I adapt it to your event.
Six keynote topics built around what weighs most on the agenda of people who decide: how power works in Brasília and how your company engages with it legitimately; reading the landscape from someone who has sat on all three sides of the table; leadership and decision-making in political and regulated environments; reinvention and the courage to change course; management and results in businesses under transformation; and corporate governance for boards that need to work in practice. Every keynote is designed for your industry, your company's moment and your audience — never off the shelf.
Anyone leading a company in Brazil lives with decisions that are not made inside the company. This keynote opens the black box of Brasília — who decides, at which moment and under which incentives — and shows how your company can take part in that process legitimately, technically and transparently.
What the audience takes away
- →How decisions are actually made: who, when and why
- →The roles of Congress, the executive branch and regulatory agencies
- →How to engage legitimately, technically and transparently
- →How to anticipate regulatory risk and turn it into influence

Why Paulo
Three sides of the table
Most people who take the stage to talk about economics, politics and business analyse Brazil from the outside. I decided from within it: 11 years at Michelin — including the global PMO in France and the operation in the United States —, four years as a federal congressman for Rio de Janeiro, and running a traditional business in transformation as CEO of Lance!.
In Congress, I co-authored the Legal Framework for Startups (Marco Legal das Startups) and the Digital Government Act, played a decisive role in passing the New Gas Law and founded the Parliamentary Front for Bioeconomy. Today I am an IBGC-certified board member, chair of a business council at ACRJ, co-founder of MIT REAP Rio and Executive Director of Associação pelo Livre Mercado — economics, energy, regulation and bioeconomy are lived experience, not bibliography.
It is that combination — multinational, Congress, boards and management — that leaves your audience with clarity to act, rather than inspiration that evaporates by Monday.
